I started working out with Gio in 2006 when I realized I needed more motivation than an alarm buzzing in my ear at 6am.   We worked together on diet as well as slimming down and toning up.  While working out with Gio I hit my ideal healthy weight and gained strength without bulking up.  Since starting our training I went from a chubby, non-active person to having completed numerous 5k and 10ks, a triathlon, 3 half marathons and the LA marathon.   She helped me to stay motivated, encouraged me,  and helped push me toward my goals.  If you want to get rid of excuses, find motivation, and get in shape I’d highly recommend training with Giovanna.

I decided to start training with Giovanna after being with my boyfriend for about 3 and a half years. As many of you know, relationships can be the demise of your waistline. I was lazy in love. Heavy on the lazy...literally. I could not get myself back into a routine and had gained nearly 30 lbs. I was eager to start training and getting my body back to where it was 4 or 5 years ago. Immediately upon working with Gio, I was excited. Two weeks in I felt like I was working towards something and she was giving me all the tools to do it properly and healthily. I absolutely loved that she even gave me workout routines to do on my own for the days I wasn't training with her! I appreciated her extra time talking to me about how to eat more healthy, but not making me feel like I needed to be on a "diet". I hate that word. She made me feel as if this was a new life choice and not just a quick fix. She took the time to explain to me why we were doing certain exercises so I could learn. I've learned a ton about my body, health and how to eat. I'm surprised I lasted this long without knowing these simple elements to amplify my workouts and health. 2 months in I had gotten my body back to where I wanted it to be (if not better!) and it's even made me want to keep pushing myself just to see how great I can look/be! I would whole-heartedly recommend Giovanna to anyone that needs a trainer to positively push and teach them how to get back into health, but doesn't want a crazy drill sergeant. I <3 GIO!

Gio is an amazing trainer that takes workouts to a whole other level. Innovative training and out of the box thinking make for a totally unique experience that gets you to your goals. Not only does she work wonders with adults; she is super with kids too! I respect her professionalism and genuine character and I would highly recommend Gio to anyone looking for a kick ass personal trainer.
